Introducing Village Grove, St Georges Basin

Village Grove is the new neighbourhood in the St Georges Basin town centre, beside the IGA and the shops, built in stages. This new website replaces the earlier one-page Village Grove site, and this post explains where Village Grove is, who each stage is for, and what you will find here.

Where Village Grove is

St Georges Basin is a town in the Shoalhaven, on the NSW South Coast, and it shares its name with the lake it sits beside. Village Grove is in the middle of town, with the IGA and the shops next door. Stage 1 runs along Cape Crescent, Saltmarsh Rise, and Crowea Road. To find it, head for the IGA.

Stage 1: homes for investors

Stage 1 homes are leased to Defence Housing Australia (DHA), which provides housing for Australian Defence Force members and their families. The homes are offered to investors, whether you are buying a first investment property or adding to a portfolio.

The Invest page has an interactive plan of Stage 1. Select a home to see its lot number and address. Every home shows its status as to be confirmed, so send an enquiry for current availability, prices, and lease details. The home images on that page are artist’s impressions, and they are labelled that way.

Stage 2: a future release, subject to approval

Stage 2 is for people who want to live at Village Grove: families, seachangers, and downsizers. It is subject to approval, and there are no dates to share yet. To hear about it first, register interest on the Live page. Registering is free and does not commit you to anything.

How this website is written

A few rules shape every page. Distances and walking times appear only once they have been measured. Renders of homes are labelled as artist’s impressions. Stage 2 is described as subject to approval until it is approved. If you cannot find a detail you need, ask us.
